"It's pronounced 'Xander' because I am a pretentious artist"
Larger Stained Glass
My largest (and in some ways most satisfying) works, usually undertaken as commissions. These pieces are usually installed into doors and windows, but can be framed instead - no idea is too outlandish! Created using a combination of leading, copper foil, fusing, and painting.
Smaller Stained Glass
Smaller pieces of art, usually designed to be hung in a window to catch the sun, ranging from birds and flowers to geometric patterns and current affairs (anyone for stained glass memes?). Works at this scale can lend themselves to more playful experimental works, being much quicker to execute than my larger pieces.
Not Glass
Some of my other work, from stone-carving and wood-working to paper-cutting and film photography, with odds and ends from my architectural studies thrown in for good measure.
Courses
I offer courses for 1 to 2 people at my studio, so you and a friend can come along and try your hand at making your own stained-glass suncatcher!
Want some glass?
If you’re interested in my work, I’d love to hear from you! Commissioned pieces are my favourite thing to do, as it allows me to establish a connection with my client in order to create their dream piece. So, no matter how big or how small your project is, please don’t hesitate to get in touch!
